hair-careIdeally our body systems are well equipped sustain natural hair growth and maintain its beauty but hair problems are very common these days. Most of it is due to nutritional deficiencies, illness, and environmental pollution. You can even have a lot of hair loss or excessively dry hair in case you are suffering from a thyroid problem. Avoid blow drying hair, brushing wet hair, combing dry hair roughly, and rubbing hair vigorously with towel. If your hair gets into too much tangles and knots, go for a trimming to manage your hair better or apply hair products like Livon.

Hair needs proteins vitamins and particularly B-complex vitamins as they play a major role in restoring the health of hair. Iron, zinc, sulphur, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous and iodine are some of the important minerals required for optimum hair growth as well. Also you need to drink lots of water, as it ‘lubricates’ and ‘detoxifies’ the body, and fosters healthy functioning of the body organs and systems that, in turn leads to healthy hair growth.

All of these nutrients can be used for hair loss prevention as well as promoting hair health and re-growth. You can take them as supplements but it is always better to have these nutrients in their natural form.  Other than diets, hair care and regular conditioning are extremely important for maintaining healthy hair growth. Conditioners should be applied weekly or bi-weekly. You also need to regularly roil your hair and massage your scalp to promote oil secretion and improve blood circulation.
